- How do I export Draft Order to the web?
Answer:
Exporting Draft Order to the web is fairly simple, however there are some requirements. You will need your own web (server) space, and have basic knowledge of how to FTP files. The presentation is in Shockwave format, so you and your users will have to have the free Shockwave(tm) plug-in installed. This usually comes pre-installed in most browsers, but if you (or your fellow owners) do not have the plug-in, it can be downloaded for free from the Adobe Shockwave website.
To put the Draft Order presentation on your website, just follow these instructions:
1) Make sure that your draft is complete, then click on the "Export Web data" button.
2) FTP the entire "web" folder (in the Draft Order program directory) to your server.
3) Load the "/web/draft_order.html" page in your internet browser
Example: http://www.YourSite.com/web/draft_order.html
There are limitations to the web presentation. There is no ticker, team logos, or team announcements available in the Shockwave (web) presentation.
- Can the Draft Order be streamed "live"?
Answer:
While you can export the Draft Order presentation to a personal web site, Draft Order does not presently offer streaming internet capabilities.
- Can the Draft Order results be integrated with FanDraft.
Answer:
Yes. If you have the newest version of Draft Order, you can now import/export setup information, as well as export the final draft order results into FanDraft software.
Note: This only works with FanDraft v7+
Ordering / Customer Service Question
- Lost Password
I lost my password to download the software, what should I do?
Answer:
To retrieve a lost password, just click here, and then fill in the information under the "Lost Password" area.
- Transferring Files - Using different computer at draft
I am going to order the registered download onto my desktop computer, but will be using a different computer at the draft. What should I do?
Answer:
The registered download comes as one large install file. All you have to do is copy that file onto a USB Drive or CD-ROM, then install it onto the other computer.
It is suggested that you do all of the league setup, etc on one computer though. Transferring league files to and from other computers is not suggested, or supported.

Setup / League Customization
- Regular vs Tiered orders: What is the difference between the two?
Answer:
There are two different draft order types:
1) Regular: This is the standard method of draft order, and most likely your best option. All teams have an opportunity at all draft picks.
2) Tiered: Tiered is very much like the NBA style of draft order, where there are set tiers of teams that have a chance at certain picks. For example, only the worst few teams have a the opportunity at the first few picks. If you select this draft order type you will then have other Tier Setup options become available to you.
- Selection Order: What is difference between the two options?
Answer:
The Selection Order is the order you want the picks to be made. This can be changed in the League Setup area.
There are two options for Selection Order:
1) 1-12: This is where the first pick is selected 1st, and the last pick is selected last.
2) 12-1: This is where the last pick is selected 1st, and the first pick is selected last.
You will want to be careful when deciding your selection order, as your other settings can come into significant play.
For example: If in a two team league Team A has 100 lottery balls, and Team B has 1 lottery ball, the outcomes will vary quite dramatically based on the selection order. In a 1-12 order, Team A has a much greater chance of getting the first pick in the draft. In as 12-1 league, Team A will likely get the last pick in a draft.
Note: We use (1-12) (12-1) as example numbers. For your league, the 12 will be replaced by your league size. For example, if you have a 4 team league it will read (1-4) (4-1).
- Announcing the Team Names / How To
Answer:

Starting the Draft Order Lottery
- I started a draft order accidentally, WHAT SHOULD I DO??!
Answer:
Feel free to get familiar with the draft order portion of the program. Test and get use to the live draft order as much as you need.
Whenever you go to Draft-> Start Draft Order and hit the "START DRAFT ORDER " button, it will clear all prior picks and draft data. This means you can as many
"Mock Draft Orders" as you want prior to the official one.
- Exiting program in middle of draft order:
I accidentally exited the program in the middle of the draft, what should I do?
Answer:
To continue from where you left off, simply go to "Draft Order Lottery ->Continue Draft Order".
All information is automatically saved and stored during the draft, so doing this should bring you right back to where you left off. Make sure to select "Continue" draft though, and not "Start New Draft Order ". Starting a new draft order does exactly that, erases all prior information and starts a new draft order.
